This is what our back yard is supposed to look like at the end of December, but since we are significantly below our normal snow totals for the month, there is no snow in our yard right now. This photo was taken about three years ago.
Happy New Year!

Beautiful! 🙂 I’m loving winter from afar.
How can we leave a pic for you? I just love your posts with the pics.

It’s beautiful but I don’t like winter and would have to stay indoors until it thawed!
Ah man fm, I am in the same boat! Miss scenes like that. Will have to post one from a past winter as well. Happy New Year my friend. Margie
Hi,
It certainly is a Winter Wonderland, a beautiful photo.
The light and blue sky make this winter scene enticing. Tomorrow I will post what out winter usually looks like- GRAY!
Your photo is lovely.

Just a perfect magical Winter. It’s like being in a Winter Dreamland, only it’s real . What a view. Wishing you a Happy New Year.

Really amazing shot, just love it! 🙂
Well done 🙂 Thanks for the share!
Wow! What a back yard that is!
What a wonderful view and photo, a glimpse of the purity of heaven! ‘winter sea’…beautiful word play…and the trees are like a wintery coral reef.
We haven’t had much snow at all, either. What a strange winter this has been so far…
Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful!!! You obviously live in lovely part of the world. Thanks for the likes.
Wowza! This is an awesome photo! What a gorgeous backyard! Why go anywhere else? 🙂 Love your haiku too. We got 4″ of snow yesterday and it snowed all day today, leaving the trees looking like Fairyland….as in your photo. That’s my favorite kind of snow! I can’t wait to see your other posts!! Great work!
