The simplicity of nature! No cell phone service, no internet, no electricity, no buildings, no crowds…delightful!
I used Photoshop Elements and stitched two photos together to create more of a panorama. No other photomanipulation or textures applied here. (This photo was taken during a camping trip to Blue Lake in the beautiful Uinta Mountains of Northern Utah, USA.)

Creativity Aroused 
I was going to suggest that the photo looked like something from my part of the world…and it was. The Uinta Mountains are a bit north of me, but so very similar to my home area of the Wasatch Mountains.
Beautiful photo…and you did a great job of joining the two pictures. 🙂
The Native American tribe is called the “Uintah,” but the mountains are called “Uinta.” 🙂

There seems to be a lot of Blue Lakes up that way. There seems to be a lot of lakes. Period. The closest I got was Mirror Lake overlook. Such a gorgeous part of the country.

You know I live on the river and it is so tranquil till the weekend, the city slickers come up for the weekend and they crank up the radio, jet down river in speed boats, and turn tranquility into a party. They call it getting away from it all yet, they bring it all with them (grinin’)
