Weekly Photo Challenge: Hope

A Bird's Hope
A Bird’s Hope, a photo by Fergiemoto on Flickr.  (Click on image to enlarge).
Linking up with Nature Notes, Creative Exchange, Texture Tuesday and  Camera Critters.

Optimistic pause
Eagerness tingles essence
Happy consequence!

Woodpecker:  “I hope I can hang on and get some morsels.”
Junco bird:  “I hope the woodpecker leaves soon.  It’s cold, wet, snowing and I’m hungry.”
Photographer:  “I hope this shot turns out.”

We’re finally getting some snow in our area…but a snowstorm doesn’t stop the birds from visiting!

  1. Thanks for your visit and kind words.
I must say that you’ve got beautiful photos in your blog. And I think it’s fun to learn what they are called in english. The haikus (can you say so?) are very nice too.
    I’ll visit you again.

  2. You just wonder how some of the animals and birds make it through the severe weather. Good people like you providing a meal for the feathered friends.
    Nice photograph.

  3. More than ever the birds needs feeding when a storm is on its way. Another lovely picture from you. A delightful composition, so well balanced and strong. I like the bluish tint of the picture, makes us feel the winter and the cold. And it’s a nice little story you put together with the words. Love it.

  4. Awwww, poor little guy sure does look like he’s waiting very patiently.
    This is a great photograph!

Thank you so very much for sharing with us at The Creative Exchange this week.

    Have a wonderful day!

  7. I posted a poem titled Hope that used fledgling as a metaphor two days after you posted this but I have not visited your site previously. Love that “Six degress of separation” theory. Also love your blog, particularly the heading quote.
