I’m posting this for the “F” Challenge by Frizztext (“F” is for Footprints).
I took this photo last week. The forecast called for about five inches of snow in our area, but woke up to a dusting instead. When I looked out on our deck, I saw that our daily visitors had already been by for their breakfast! Within an hour, the temperature had warmed enough to melt the snow and dissolve the tracks. This footprint photo is the first in a series of photos I took. The footprints were likely made by the scrub jays, juncos, finches and/or chickadees.

I like that…fun
Great interpretation.
Brilliant!!! Just brilliant, both haiku & image!
more footprints like this! I like your minimal art!
So cute! 🙂
So simple & beautiful 🙂
Birdie autographs–I like that.

Hi,
A very good photo, something a bit different. It is amazing when you think about it, you really don’t know what is lurking around while you are out of sight. 😀
I have always been completely enchanted by “birdie autographs” such as these! I think our feathered friends know we want them to leave their marks like this, to converse with us!
How lovely! Little birdie footprints!
Some girls are destined to be crazy cat women, me? I’m a bird lady. Love the photo!
great shot
Such a playful photo and accompanying haiku dear Fergiemoto! Love it! Margie
I like it! When I first saw the photo, I thought it was a car window, and couldn’t figure out how the bird managed vertical walking.
Very cool photo.
I love this! Nature’s footprints are so amazing and often we are in far too much of a hurry to notice. Thank you for posting and thank you for liking a few of my recent posts. I welcome visitors! I’ll be back to see your work again very soon!
Lovely texture captured in the snow and the footprints make a great composition in Black and White
I love it! They are so distinct. Bet they were pretty small to the naked eye!
