When I was working in Osaka, Japan, I toured Osaka Castle (大阪城) just after it’s 1997 major renovation, and took the original photo during that visit. For the image, I used Photoshop Elements to create another old Japanese woodblock print style, with my own flare. Also, I added a texture to soften the image.
Here is the photo I started with, which was scanned from a negative:

Both great images, but I really love that woodblock print effect you achieved with editing. It’s really beautiful and so detailed.
I have always admired the delicate touch you add to your photographs in post production. This woodblock print style and the texture enhances the photograph into something very beautiful and very subtle. There is such a soft ambience in the picture. Simply great.
