This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is to share a picture that captures a fleeting moment on the street.  It’s rare for me to attempt street photography, so I had to dig deep into the archives for this photo (scanned from a negative and leaving just a hint of blue color in the ocean).  I’m drawn to the mustache, hat and quiet contemplation from this older gentleman, and the energizing feeling of the ocean backdrop!

  2. Wonderful image. I love the contrast between the still, contemplative, man and the energy of the sea and the moving tablecloths. I like this a lot.

  3. There is so much composure and peace seen on this gentleman, even though he is backed by those surging waves! I have a feeling this gentleman experiences many such “fleeting moments”! Wonderful sharing!
