This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is to share a picture
of a silhouette with everyone!
Linking up with:

RURAL THURSDAY
WEEKEND FLOWERS
THIS OR THAT THURSDAY
Love it! Also a great macro shot, Fergie!
Thank you, Gracie! I couldn’t resist this shot when I saw the shadow.
Breathtaking! 🙂
Thank you, Vladimir! 🙂
Very creative!
Thank you, Ravi! I was searching for something a little different.
Nice photo.
Though, 99% of the case, a spider you see is She.
In most of the case, after copulated, He-spider was eaten by Her.
Thank you, Yoshizen!
Yes, not a good reward or fate for the male spiders.
Reward is, HIS GENE lives on and could be flourishing for ever.
A species who can say “equality” “human-right” “love” brah brah—-
is very very rare and exceptional.
(Even among the mammals, every body having more or less same opportunity to have a mate because of the same ratio of male and female population, still not to have Harlem system is only mankind.)
Great shot! So beautiful❤
Thank you so much, Violet! 🙂
Beautifully delicate silhouette,
Thank you, Richert!
beautiful but scared the crap out of me!
Thank you, buckwheat! Good thing it was a small spider, but even the small ones can be scary. I don’t care for spiders either.

Ah brilliant, it’s rather hard this week!
Thank you, Gilly! Yes, I was trying to come up with something a little different.
An unexpected response, I think, to this week’s challenge.
Thank you, Colline! Unexpected was kind of what I was searching for.
I don’t like spiders, but this one is so cute and unexpected that I can only say I like it! 😉
Thank you! I’m glad you like it. I don’t like spiders either, but this one did make for an enticing shot.

Peace,
Siggi in Downeast Maine
Thank you, Siggi! Yes, creepy, but it made for a fun time photographing this.
Just beautiful! Love the white/yellow colors and the wonderful composition.
Thank you, Amy! The flower is a daffodil, and I did like how the shadow was captured through the petal.
Beautiful flower! Glad the spider is on the other side!
Thank you Angeline! I can understand!
Sneaky! The spiders this time of the year are enormous, aren’t they?
Thank you, Veronica! Yes, they are, and they are coming into the house. The spider in this photo though is much smaller than it looks.
A nice take on the challenge. Well done.
Thank you, Ruth!
This is a beautiful photograph, and I always always enjoy your haiku. 🙂
Thank you, Myra! So nice of you to say that!
Wow – this took my breath away. Fabulous!
Thank you, ladyfi! Good thing this was a small spider and not a big one!
Love it… the photo… would someone please move the spider….
Thank you, bulldog! Ok, I’ll move it aside. It was a small spider, but an unfamiliar one once I saw it’s markings.
That spider silhouette is amazing! Perfect shot!
🙂
Thank you, Marina! I couldn’t resist taking it’s photo when I saw this. I appreciate your kind compliments! 🙂

This is an amazing picture!!
I have a love/hate relationship with spiders. I think they are fabulous creatures but they scare me. When I come upon one I try to think of the story Charlotte’s web 🙂
Christine x
Thank you, Christine! Yes, Charlotte was such a nice spider. I don’t care fore spiders either, even though this was a small one. It’s markings were unfamiliar to me, so I dared not touch it.

You outfox the spider perfectly by noticing it 😉
This photo made me laugh.

A clever interpretation of the ‘silhouette’ theme.
Thank you, Meanderer! I think it was trying to hide from me!
Love the combination of mystery, suspense, excitement and irresistible beauty.

Thank you, dana! That’s so kind of you!
That is awesome! And the flower is beautiful. 🙂
