(Did you also notice the little black bee in the photo?  I felt quite lucky to have captured a shot with three little critters!)

This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge encourages us to
share a picture that says In the Background.

  1. This photo is amazing. One of my favourites! Again! The background is just stunning; all of it is stunning 🙂

I have just created a blog for my close up photos of flowers and I am accompanying them with short form poetry like haiku and elfje etc. they are nowhere near as good as yours, but then yours would take some beating by the considered very best!

My new blog is yet another way of helping me help myself with my ever weakening hands. I am determined to keep them going for as long as I can. So the photos are very simple . In fact it takes a few shots to actually get a flower! I have several of sideways fences, walls and wonky sky!! Lol if you would like to visit there is a link to it on my journeyintopoetry blog at the righthand side in the blogroll. Its called Perfect Imperfection. 🙂

  2. Perfect!!! The “background” can play such an important role and most of the times we just ignore it… I love both your haiku and image!
🙂 Happy new week and happy Monday!
