This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is to share a picture that captures a fleeting moment on the street.  It’s rare for me to attempt street photography, so I had to dig deep into the archives for this photo (scanned from a negative and leaving just a hint of blue color in the ocean).  I’m drawn to the mustache, hat and quiet contemplation from this older gentleman, and the energizing feeling of the ocean backdrop!

This photo was taken when we were visiting the Greek island of Mykonos.  I wanted to create a silhouette of the front part of the church, and have the cross behind it illuminated by the sun.

I just completed this artwork for my husband.  He would like it framed and displayed in his office!  The scene is a common one from the Greek isle of Mykonos, but it is where we spent part of our honeymoon…10 years ago!
