We still have a few honeybees buzzing around drinking in the last few drops of nectar from our flowers before they are done for the season.

What nourishes you?  What is the nectar that feeds your mind, body, and/or spirit?

  1. Great shot of the honey bee.

A walk amongst nature always nourishes my soul. I am starting to feel much better after 3 walks this week (so far). Hopefully, tomorrow will be the fourth.

    • It could be that. The tumor is about half the size of its head. Also, I just noticed a deformed foot from a photo I just took of a male finch. This problem seems prevalent.
      Thanks for the info, Michelle.

  2. Such a cutie. Excellent capture, fergie…. ;oD
Nature, full stop, is what nourishes me, and my ability to daydream at the drop of a hat, no matter where I am!

    • Thank you so much, Betty! It’s really a challenge! Lots of practice and patience, good lighting and a fast shutter speed. Try to focus on the eyes. Also, lots of throw-aways to get to a decent shot.

  6. Amazing clarity! Love the detail – the bee’s hairs look fluffy and soft and the wings are iridescent, but with a little thickness that almost looks waxy. A wonderful close up shot that gives us a view we normally don’t see.
